Spaghetti Ramen Cost: Php 45.00 |
Korean Ramen is known for its spicy
taste and I think it is spicier than the sisig that I have already tasted. For
those who do not have any idea of ramen, ramen is the “canton/noodles” of
Koreans. It tastes different from the Philippines’ canton, from the kind of
noodle they use to the taste and seasonings.( Of course, you would expect it to
be different because it is for Koreans.)
And the price? It is thrice the regular pancit canton. The next question would
be on how to cook it. The same as what we do here in the Philippines, add a
boiling water into the cup, seal and wait for five minutes and (TADA!!!) your
ramen is ready..:)
But what makes this ramen
different? Instead of being spicy, it is rather sweet but not the kind of
sweetness you find on Jollibee’s spaghetti but it is tasty. At first I can’t
believe that they have included raisin and sweet corn as its “artificial
vegetables”. Trying to eat the remaining canton, I found this ramen to be “nakakasawa” or “nakakaumay”. Even if I have a tower of soda, the oils of the
seasoning just stays on my toungue and even water can not dilute it.
This ramen is available on Korean’s
stores only. (I haven’t seen this on any supermarket here in Baguio).
