Black and White Cake & Ube Milkshake Cost: Php. 69.75 (Cake) 59.75( Milkshake) |
Being stuck on the Harrisson
overpass for almost 15 minutes and Hotel veniz is nearby; I’ve decided to pay a
visit to their diner, Veniz Grill. Veniz Grill oversees a part of the city,
specifically the Igorot Garden where various monuments of the Cordilleran could
be found and since it was raining the locals who are used to playing board
games there are nowhere to be found. Located at the 3rd floor of the
Hotel Veniz building, just beside Betty’s Grill, Veniz Grill serves breakfast,
lunch and dinner and merienda. The place is spacious but there is nothing
unique.
Veniz Grill regular meals price
range from 50 to 100 pesos approximately. They serve solo meal and good for 2-3
people’s meal. Beverages available vary from different variation of coffees (I
just don’t know if they offer bottomless ones), flavored milkshakes, teas,
cappuccinos, etc…
Feeling full and staring at their
huge-meal menus, I’ve just ordered a cake and a milkshake. Their cake taste no
different from local bakeshops, and sometimes I’ve just thought it’s tasteless.
I just don’t know on their other regular meals (promise I’ll try their regular
meals). And their milkshakes? Maybe good, I’ve eaten much of the cream rather
than mixing it making it bland. But I can taste the ube flavor and crushed ice.
My food experience may not be that
good and I’m planning to be back there and try their viands, maybe then, I’ll
have a better experience…Being stuck on the Harrisson
